About Veteran Readiness & Employment (VR&E) Services

Dear Transitioning Servicemember or Veteran,

Are you utilizing training through the US Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) program or one of VA’s educational programs, such as the Post 9/11 or Montgomery GI Bills?

Did you know VA’s VetSuccess on Campus (VSOC) program currently supports 104 schools across the country? These schools are served by 87 VSOC Counselors.

What is a VSOC Counselor?

The VA assigns experienced Veteran Readiness Counselors (VRC) from its VR&E program to each VSOC school. These VRCs are called VSOC Counselors. VSOC Counselors ensure student Veterans receive the support and assistance needed to pursue their educational and employment goals.

Check out this list of current VSOC locations, counselors, and contact information on VR&E’s VSOC webpage (https://www.benefits.va.gov/vocrehab/vsoc.asp). Additional information can also be found on the VSOC fact sheet (https://www.benefits.va.gov/VOCREHAB/docs/VetSuccessOnCampusFactSheet2018.pdf).

Thank you for your service – now let us serve you!
