25 Emails You Get From The VA During Separation

This is just an archive of the emails I received from the VA during my military transition.

Nearly all of them come all at once.
I have two theories for this:

  1. No one at the VA understands the concept of a drip email campaign
  2. These are all programs they’re mandated by law to tell us about and they need to check the “We told you so” box

If you’re like me you never delete emails but you likely never go back to read them either.

I doubt you’re going to read all 25 of these in one sitting once they get sent to your inbox. There’s also some information here that’s handy to have beforehand. By the time it gets to your email it’s too late

For example, Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) is for 180-90 days left on active duty.
Transfer of Educational Benefits (TEB) needs you to agree to 4 ADDITIONAL years of service so I don’t even know why it’s part of this email campaign.

That’s why I’m putting them here so you can read them at your leisure.
